May Bank Holiday in association with Great Lighthouses of Ireland
In association with Great Lighthouses of Ireland, the Shine A Light Festival celebrates all things nautical on the spectacular grounds of Hook Lighthouse. Visitors can enjoy demonstrations from Irish Coast Services, lively family games, engaging activities, and delicious food offerings.
This action-packed weekend runs hourly from 10pm to 4pm and promises maritime fun and discovery for the whole family.

There are benches for picnics and toys on the lawns for children as well as our very popular Pirate Ship.
Our maritime museum and centre on sustainability are open all weekend.
Tours are running daily 7 days a week from 90.30am to 5.00pm.

Saturday & Sunday From 09:30am till 4.00pm
The café will open as usual from 9.30am to 4.45 pm daily and the outdoor catering unit is open all weekend from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
